Values in American Life Class,
I thought this particular clip would be interesting to share with the class. I, of course, took the clip from YOUTUBE. This clip basically demonstrates the art of sampling music by converting one’s soul piece (by the late great Isaac Hayes) into an artist(s) track, mainly Hip-Hop tracks. Hope you enjoy!

P.S. “Can I Live” by Jay-Z is a dope song.
This is Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings
This is Duffy singing “Syrup and Honey”
This is Adele singing “Hometown Glory”
This is Nina Simone singing “Feeling Good”
I am not quite sure if the Duffy or the Adele songs count as soul but i kind of get this buzz whenever i listen to them. I hope people enjoy them!
