Slavoj Zizek at the garbage dump!

I thought that clip was brilliant. I have never heard an idea like what Zizek suggested, which is essentially to love the world for what it is (and what it isn’t), and to see beauty and perfection in its imperfections. What a powerful comment.
I’m going to have to sit and think about that one for a moment. The ideology I’m currently swimming in, along with everyone else I know, is bound to try and steer me clear of that idea.
